White Water looks into surfing in Great Britain. It aims to explore and document an ever growing peripheral sub-culture and its protagonists as never before.
In White Water a reality which is not present in the idealistic depiction of surf manifests itself through the rough conditions which are endured by surfers in search of the perfect British wave.
As well as exploring the periphery, White Water will bring into perspective the notion of the city surfers: individuals who have moved from the periphery to the city and given up an essential part of their lifestyle.
